School services
Dinning room
Urgell School gives a dinning-room home-made service of Mediterranean diet with vegetarian orientation. A medical and diet team takes care of the menus. This service is part of the School project to help children in their healthy, educative, individual and social behaviour. See the menu list (PDF, Catalan).
Music school
Our school offers additional music education. Our purpose is to increase the interest of our students in music, starting from infancy. As a school, we want to provide basic music training. We offer practical performance based in the acquisition of instrumental knowledge, so as to enable the students to enjoy the pleasures of music. An additional objective of the school would be to help the students learn how to use their free time profitably. For the following course 2007-2008 our musical offer includes: educating in perception and awareness of music, musical language, choral music and the following instruments: piano, violin and guitar.
After school activities
We offer an after school complementary programme of activities for our students (during lunch break or in the afternoon) so that, whoever wishes to develop their skills, has the chance to do it with us without the need to move out of the school. They can work with musical language and learn how to play an instrument (piano, classic guitar or violin). They can also become more fluent in English with native speaking teachers or practise their favourite sports. We invite you to take a look into our schedule.
Before and after school
When personal or professional difficulties make necessary leaving children before or after classes, children until 6th grade have a special service from 8 to 9am and from 5 up to 6pm.
Exalumni
The Exalumni Students Association of Col·legi Urgell has the objective that all the exalumni of the college from 1960 onwards should be able to increase their links of friendship. The main objective of this idea is to create a means of comunication, where the former students could remain linked to the school and preserve the relations of friendship created during their school training.
